I take architectural drawings through to a complete reinforced concrete structural package. I set out the structural layout, model and analyse the frame in ProtaStructure, design the beams, columns, slabs, stairs and foundations, and produce general arrangement (GA) drawings in AutoCAD. I then detail every member, with bar marks, cut lengths, laps, anchorage, covers and spacing, and prepare bar bending schedules.

I am a 400-level Civil Engineering student currently on industrial training, where I inspect reinforcement on live building sites. I design to BS 8110 and can work to Eurocode 2 / BS 8666 or ACI when your project requires them.
