• Independent Architect and Technical Translator 1OFFproductions · Self-employed Apr 2012 – Present 14 yrs 5 mos Johannesburg, South Africa I have been involved in big scale commercial projects such as a major transport facility and retail centre for Alexandra in Johannesburg (2008), Tiger Wheels projects (2000), a retail centre in my private practice (2005) and others. For the past 14 years (2012 -2026) I have worked independently with end user clients, builders and property developers mostly doing bespoke residential projects thereby being exposed to a multitude of design and administration challenges on my own. Bathrooms and kitchens are important functional elements in my planning.
  
  I have also done interior design for 2 restaurants as well as the design of furniture, the biggest piece being in the Foyer of the JSE (Johannesburg Stock Exchange, a 5m high steel structure with timber panels surround to the electronic screen with up to date stocks information.
  
  Previously I was involved in the design and drafting of healthcare projects, namely 2 Maternities (2010 -2012), Admin Hospital buildings and a Workshop for Limpopo. I worked as a consultant at Mpande Architects, an architectural practice specialized in Healthcare architecture. This gave me relevant experience in the design and specification of Hospital architecture.
