About
Senior CAD/CAM Engineer & CNC Programming Specialist (20+ Years Experience)
I help machine shops, precision manufacturers, and hardware developers turn complex CAD concepts into flawless, production-ready G-code and tooling designs. With over two decades on the manufacturing floor and in design engineering, I specialize in eliminating machining errors, slashing cycle times, and ensuring strict dimensional tolerances before parts ever hit the spindle.
Core Technical Capabilities:
Advanced CAM & CNC Programming: 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling, turning, and multi-tasking mill-turn setups.
Primary CAD/CAM Platform: Expert-level Siemens UG NX (CAD/CAM), Solid Edge, and post-processor verification.
Toolpath & Simulation: Collision avoidance, toolpath optimization, fixture design, and complete G-code verification.
Tooling & Die Design: Comprehensive stamping/forging die design, mold components, and manufacturing process sheets.
Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Tolerance stack-up analysis, material selection, and redesigning parts for cost-effective machining.
