Most Scan-to-BIM modelers come from an architectural background and treat MEP as an afterthought. I don't. I spent two years as a design electrical engineer delivering fit-out packages for Australian consultants (NDY, Fredon) before moving full-time into BIM - so when I model your cable tray, containment, ductwork and switchboards, I'm thinking about what can actually be installed, not just what the scan shows.
