• manual machinist/CNC oporator edge machining · Full-time Jun 2023 – Present 3 yrs 3 mos Lindon, UT, USA As a Manual Machinist / CNC Operator, my role is to produce high-quality precision parts that meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and tight dimensional tolerances. I am experienced in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, understanding GD&T and tolerances, selecting appropriate tooling, and determining machining processes and setups.
  
  I have hands-on experience operating CNC mills and lathes as well as manual machining equipment. I understand how individual features and dimensions relate to the overall function of a part and take care to ensure that finished components are accurate, functional, and meet quality requirements.
  
  My experience has also given me a strong understanding of machining materials, cutting tools, feeds and speeds, workholding, inspection, and troubleshooting. I am comfortable working from raw material to finished part and making adjustments when necessary to achieve the required dimensions and surface finish.
