My experience includes switch-mode power supplies, motor controls, analog and digital electronics, embedded systems, PCB design/layout, surface-mount electronics, and electronic test systems. I have previous professional experience with Altium Designer and currently work with Fusion 360 for mechanical CAD and electro-mechanical integration.

- Senior Electronics Technician / Design & Test Advanced Conversion Technology · Full-time Mar 1996 – Aug 2004 8 yrs 5 mos Middletown, PA, USA Designed, built, tested, and troubleshot switch-mode power supplies and high-power electronic systems. Worked closely with engineering on prototype development and design improvements. Developed a 3-phase 1 kW front-end power supply and contributed to high-current 5 V / 240 A power systems using Vicor converter modules. Designed and built electronic loads and test fixtures, performed board-level troubleshooting, and wrote test procedures and engineering change documentation (ECOs). Experienced with power semiconductors, magnetics, snubber networks, PCB layout considerations, and resolving switching transients and other difficult hardware problems.
