I am a CAD designer with hands-on experience in mechanical design, fabrication, CNC manufacturing and additive manufacturing. I specialise in turning concepts, sketches, measurements and existing components into practical, manufacturing-ready 3D models and technical drawings.
My experience combines CAD design with real-world manufacturing, allowing me to design components with consideration for how they will actually be produced, assembled and used.

I primarily work with SolidWorks and have experience designing components for CNC machining, waterjet cutting, sheet metal fabrication, welding, plastic fabrication and 3D printing.
My manufacturing background means I focus on more than simply making a CAD model look correct. I consider material selection, tolerances, manufacturing processes, assembly, accessibility and practical production requirements throughout the design.
I am happy to work on anything from a straightforward component or drawing conversion through to more involved mechanical assemblies and prototype development.
