About
I am a PCB Design Engineer focused on turning electronics concepts into manufacturable, dependable hardware. Over 10 years of practical experience across PCB layout, schematic development, prototype builds, board bring-up, and production support has taught me to design with the final product—not just the CAD file—in mind.
My experience includes multilayer digital, analog, mixed-signal, embedded, IoT, industrial control, robotics, automotive electronics, consumer devices, and power-related hardware. I work primarily with Altium Designer and KiCad, with practical experience preparing complete fabrication and assembly packages, including Gerbers, drill files, BOMs, pick-and-place files, assembly drawings, and manufacturing notes.
I pay close attention to component availability, stackup selection, DRC, controlled-impedance requirements, grounding, power distribution, signal integrity, EMI/EMC considerations, thermal constraints, and DFM/DFA. I am familiar with IPC-2221, IPC-7351, IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, RoHS, CE, FCC, and applicable UL requirements.
I have supported hardware from initial schematic through prototypes, engineering validation, manufacturing release, and production troubleshooting. My workflow also includes LTspice, PSpice, Git, Jira, Confluence, SolidWorks, and ECAD/MCAD collaboration. I regularly coordinate with firmware developers, mechanical engineers, PCB manufacturers, assembly houses, component suppliers, and test engineers to resolve issues efficiently.
