I’m a mechanical engineer with 9+ years of experience designing and coordinating HVAC and building mechanical systems for commercial, residential, hospitality, industrial, healthcare, and mixed-use projects. My focus is developing practical mechanical solutions that are technically sound, code-conscious, energy efficient, and ready for construction.
I work across the full HVAC design process, including heating and cooling load calculations, equipment selection, air distribution, ventilation, hydronic systems, ductwork, piping layouts, mechanical room arrangements, equipment schedules, and construction documentation. I also provide BIM coordination, clash detection, design development, shop drawing review, and construction support.
My primary design environment is Revit MEP and AutoCAD, supported by Navisworks for multidisciplinary coordination and Bluebeam for drawing review and documentation. For load calculations and system analysis, I have experience with Carrier HAP, Trane TRACE 3D Plus, and related engineering tools.
I understand that a good mechanical design needs to work beyond the drawing set. I consider equipment access, installation requirements, maintenance, coordination with architecture and structure, and the practical needs of contractors and building owners. I’m comfortable working from architectural backgrounds, existing drawings, markups, specifications, or early-stage concepts and developing them into organized mechanical documentation.
