I am a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer with 10+ years of experience in mechanical design, product development, manufacturing engineering, and engineering analysis. My work combines practical mechanical design with a strong understanding of how components and assemblies are actually manufactured, assembled, tested, and brought into production.
I have extensive hands-on experience with metalworking processes including sheet metal fabrication, CNC laser cutting, CNC bending, rolling, CNC milling, CNC turning, welding, and mechanical assembly. I also work with injection molding, woodworking, additive manufacturing/3D printing, and laser cladding, allowing me to develop designs that are not only functional but also practical and cost-conscious to manufacture.
For mechanical development, I regularly use SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Rhino, and SketchUp, with additional experience in CATIA V5. My engineering analysis background includes structural and thermomechanical FEA using ANSYS and COMSOL Multiphysics, including both steady-state and transient analysis.
I support projects from initial concept and 3D modeling through detailed engineering, prototype development, design optimization, manufacturing documentation, and production support. I can also coordinate mechanical requirements with electrical assemblies, wiring, PCB integration, and other product-level interfaces when the project requires multidisciplinary coordination.
My approach is straightforward: understand how the product needs to function, engineer the mechanical system around those requirements, and make sure the final design can realistically be manufactured and assembled.
