About
I am a Portuguese Electrical Design Engineer with more than eight years of professional experience in industrial automation, intralogistics, generator systems, custom machinery, electrical power infrastructure, and low-voltage control systems.
I prepare accurate electrical documentation using EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, and AutoCAD. My services include:
• Electrical power and control schematics
• Single-line diagrams
• Wiring and interconnection diagrams
• Terminal plans and cable schedules
• Electrical panel layouts
• PLC I/O documentation
• Bills of materials and component selection (BOM)
• Drawing revisions, redlines, and as-built documentation
• Conversion of sketches and PDF drawings into editable CAD documentation
My professional experience includes electrical design and commissioning support for large automated material-handling systems, including installations with 55 rail-guided vehicles, custom industrial machinery, and generator systems with two medium-voltage generating sets operating in parallel.
In addition to design work, I have practical experience with panel verification, I/O checkout, functional testing, FAT/SAT activities, commissioning, and troubleshooting. This field experience helps me create drawings that are clear and practical for panel manufacturing, installation, operation, and maintenance.
I am familiar with Siemens automation equipment, SICK sensors, AS-i systems, NORD and Lenze drives, and DEIF, Deep Sea, and ComAp generator controllers.
I am available for remote, project-based assignments and ongoing electrical design support. I work professionally in English and Portuguese and can collaborate effectively with European and international engineering teams.
My priorities are technical accuracy, organized documentation, responsive communication, realistic deadlines, and professional deliverables in both editable source format and PDF.
