About

I am currently in college working on the first 2 years of an Electrical Engineering degree. I worked in at an offshore O&G engineering firm for a year as a Electrical Engineering Intern working on billable projects with the lead electrical engineer, drafting most of the schematics and modeling the cable trays into a 3D model of a jack-up drilling rig. In high school I took two CAD drafting classes from which I learned to use AutoCAD. I also worked for Process Plant Design converting drawings to PDF to make a set of drawing catalogs consisting of 1600+ drawings dating back to 2000.

I am a Sea Scout; Sea Scouts are a Co-ed division of the Boy Scouts of America. I completed my Quartermaster rank November 14, 2016 , which is the equivalent to the Boy Scout Eagle. Completed National Youth Leadership Training, offered by the Boy Scouts of America. Served as Boatswain for Ship 1996 (the youth leader) from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2014. Registered BSA Lifeguard, from January 2013 to present. Teaching Boy Scouts to swim, the Swimming Merit Badge and administrating the swim test. Was staff at Wood Badge on November 22, 2013, a program that teaches adult volunteers how to be better leaders. Received the Venturing Leadership Award in August 2014. On September 21, 2016 I was honored with the rank of SHAC (Sam Houston Area Council) Fleet Boatswain. The Fleet Boatswain is entrusted to provide youth leadership to 300 Sea Scouts, around 20 ships.
