• Mechanical Design Engineer Brazil Metal Parts Inc · Full-time Feb 2026 – Present 4 mos RJ, Brazil I work as a Mechanical Design Engineer supporting CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, and 3D printing projects from concept through production. I create complex 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and AutoCAD. My responsibilities include designing sheet metal structures, welded assemblies, custom enclosures, and production-ready components while ensuring manufacturability and cost efficiency. I perform structural, thermal, and fatigue analyses using SolidWorks Simulation, ANSYS, and Abaqus to validate designs before fabrication. I also generate CNC toolpaths and G-code for machining operations and support rapid prototyping through additive manufacturing. In addition, I develop plant layouts and equipment drawings from P&IDs using AutoCAD Plant 3D, including reverse osmosis and water treatment systems. Throughout my role, I collaborate closely with manufacturing and R&D teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions and complete technical documentation, including BOMs and assembly drawings.
