About

I’m a Mechanical Designer and Drafter who’s spent the last 6 years independently building millions of dollars of machinery and turning complex machinery ideas into clear, buildable drawings and models. I focus on getting the details right—GD&T, weldments, hydraulic systems, and full fabrication packages—so designs actually work when they hit the shop floor.

Right now I’m contributing to advanced automation projects, creating precision parts and assemblies for automated systems. I work in Autodesk Inventor every day, always thinking about Design for Manufacturability so everything is practical and efficient to build.

What drives me is practical problem-solving. I bring a hands-on approach developed through years of designing and building custom equipment and automation projects. I’m based in Costa Rica and enjoy connecting with teams who are building smarter systems in industrial automation and custom machinery. Mechanical Designer & Drafter Green Corridors LLC. · Contract Mar 2026 – Present 4 mos Houston, TX, United States I work as a Mechanical Designer & Drafter on advanced automation and hydraulic projects, where I:

•Reverse engineered existing components and developed new designs to create accurate 3D models, detailed engineering drawings with full GD&T (ASME Y14.5), and complete fabrication packages using Autodesk Inventor.

•Applied advanced GD&T, weldments, and hydraulic system design to ensure precise tolerances and manufacturability for both legacy and newly developed parts.

•Produced production-ready documentation with strong focus on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) so parts and assemblies could be efficiently fabricated and assembled on the shop floor.

•Delivered accurate assemblies, BOMs, and technical drawings that turned engineering concepts and reverse-engineered parts into reliable, buildable solutions.
Product Engineer / Mechanical Engineer Harrison Customs LTD. · Freelance Aug 2022 – Present 3 yrs 11 mos San José, San José Province, Costa Rica • Design and engineer large-scale custom chassis and integrated hydraulic systems for freight vehicles / working equipment / specialty machinery, delivering complete mechanical solutions from concept through fabrication and testing that meet structural, performance, and safety requirements.

• Produce comprehensive, complex drawing packages—including chassis frame layouts with full GD&T, hydraulic cylinder and circuit integration, detailed weldments, BOMs, assembly sequences, and fabrication drawings—primarily in Autodesk Inventor. These packages enable precision manufacturing (including CNC plasma and water jet processes) and minimize errors during build and assembly.
Mechanical Engineer Vitality Health LLC. · Contract Jan 2018 – Jun 2023 5 yrs 5 mos Vancouver, BC, Canada Led the full mechanical engineering and system integration for a large-scale [bottling / packaging] production line, designing and documenting a complete automated solution capable of 1,200 units per hour / 20 bottles per minute across filling, capping stations while meeting ISO hygiene / regulatory / throughput requirements.

• Produced a complex, production-ready drawing package of 400+ pages including general arrangement layouts, detailed part and weldment fabrication drawings with GD&T tolerances, assembly sequences, BOMs, and interface details in Autodesk Inventor. This package enabled precise manufacturing, minimized shop-floor ambiguity, and supported on-time installation and commissioning with minimal rework.

• Coordinated with fabricators and vendors, resolved layout constraints in an existing facility, and delivered the project on schedule / under budget / with improved line efficiency of 80%
