About
I worked at a small machine shop part-time. While working at the machine shop, I would transform hand-drawn sketches into 3D models, so I could identify errors to the shop owner before he was going to machine a part. Once the part was detailed to how he liked it, I was then tasked with transferring it to the next step in the process. The shop owner first showed me how to manually machine parts before he showed me the CNC portion of it after undertaking that I started to figure out how to design parts more efficiently.
As the years went on now early 2022, I found a new job working at an engineering firm as a draftsman detailing mechanical drawings for General Motors. I gained more knowledge for detailing and 3D modeling. I was hired primarily for detailing Auto-cad well explaining misunderstanding drawings, but I was shifted towards mechanical design once my manager well explain misunderstanding had seen what I was capable of. One project, in particular, I was in charge of 3D pipe routing for a die cast cooling system. Taking on that project allowed me to learn so much about piping standards.
