About
I am a Product Development Engineer with experience in mechanical design, R&D, prototyping, and biomedical device development. My work focuses on taking complex mechanical systems from early concept through iterative prototyping, verification testing, and late-stage design refinement.
At Vessl Prosthetics, I have worked on the development of a self-adjusting lower-limb prosthetic socket system that converts linear motion from an integrated shock absorber into rotary motion to adjust socket panels and accommodate residual limb volume changes. My experience includes designing compact mechanical assemblies, CNC-machined components, sliding mechanisms, gear systems, cable spools, shafts, housings, and test fixtures.
I have hands-on experience with SolidWorks, Onshape, Fusion 360, additive manufacturing, CNC machining, FEA, pressure sensor testing, material testing, and ISO 10328 static and fatigue testing. I enjoy solving mechanical design challenges where performance, manufacturability, reliability, and user comfort all need to be balanced within tight design constraints.

At Vessl Prosthetics, I work as a Product Development Engineer focused on the design and development of advanced lower-limb prosthetic technology. My role involves taking mechanical device concepts from early-stage design through iterative prototyping, testing, and late-stage product refinement.
I design compact mechanical systems for an adjustable prosthetic socket that converts linear motion from an integrated shock absorber into rotary motion, allowing the device to reel in socket panels and help accommodate residual limb volume changes. My work includes designing components such as inner and outer shells, sliding mechanisms, gear systems, cable spools, shafts, housings, shock absorber interfaces, and custom test fixtures.
I also support verification and validation testing, including ISO 10328 static and fatigue testing, FEA, pressure sensor testing, material testing, and mechanical failure analysis. In addition, I work with local and international manufacturers, CNC shops, material suppliers, and coating vendors to improve manufacturability, reduce component count, lower product weight, and support production-intent design.
