About
I’m a qualified aeronautical engineer with 8+ yrs of experience in CAD design, FEA simulations and design for manufacturing.
I’ve worked on engineering systems at SriLankan Airlines and was part of the team that initiated Sri Lanka’s first Robotic Air Cargo Network.
Tools:
- SolidWorks
- ANSYS
- Fusion
- SimSolid
My past work milestones:
- Reducing component weight of a drone design by ~20% using FEA
- Delivering a working prototype in 3 months with ~50% operational improvement
- Designing and developing a door opener recognised by UNDP
What I Can Help You With:
- Review your CAD design for strength, weight and manufacturability
- Run FEA simulations
- Identify failure points before prototyping
- Improve designs to reduce cost and complexity
- Support early-stage product development decisions
