Conducted advanced mesoscopic finite element simulations to determine the yield surface of 2D cellular solids. Developed automated modeling workflows using Abaqus macros (Python scripting) to generate parametric models, apply multi-axial loading conditions, and extract stress–strain responses efficiently.
Implemented nonlinear material modeling to capture plastic deformation and failure initiation mechanisms. Proposed a plastic dissipation-based approach to characterize the yield surface and flow rule behavior of voided solids.
