About
I am an accomplished Industrial Design Leader with 25 years of experience in creating groundbreaking products, systems, services, and experiences. Throughout my career, I have successfully delivered a wide range of products, including mobile devices, consumer electronics, wearables, IoT, VR, medical devices, household appliances, and home goods, among others.
My passion lies in the design process, and I consistently prioritize the needs of the user above all else. By effectively translating research findings into actionable insights, I strive to develop innovative design solutions that address real user needs.
My most recent role was leading a team of talented designers at Deloitte.
I received a BS in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati DAAP program in 2001, but spent my first three undergraduate years as a Mechanical Engineering major before deciding to make the transition to Design.
My corporate and consulting experience encompasses all aspects of the design process. This includes project management, advanced research, landscape analysis, brainstorming, storyboarding, visual design language development, concept generation, 2D and 3D sketching, CMF exploration, concept visualization, 3D CAD, animation, prototypes, art direction, design for manufacturing, and UI/UX.
I am proficient in a variety of industry-related software programs, and hold several design patents for brands such as Motorola, Rubbermaid, Thermos, Gerber, Sanford, Coleman Powermate, Bissell, Acco, and Typenex Medical.
