About
I am a Mechanical Engineering student at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) with hands-on experience in mechanical design, 3D CAD modeling, engineering drawings, and engineering analysis. I work primarily with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and AutoCAD, and I enjoy turning engineering concepts into practical and manufacturable designs.
My project experience includes a variety of mechanical design and engineering applications. For my Mechanical Engineering Design Project, I worked on a hydrogen-powered scooter project, where I applied mechanical design principles to develop and integrate components into a functional vehicle concept. This project strengthened my experience in mechanical systems, component design, CAD modeling, and engineering problem-solving.
I have also designed and developed a belt tensioner/tightener, focusing on mechanical functionality, component arrangement, and practical design considerations. Other projects include an ESP32-based smart speed and vehicle platooning system using ESP-NOW, combining mechanical and embedded-system concepts.
I also completed a structural integrity assessment of a caustic storage tank using SolidWorks FEA, involving 3D modeling, mesh development, stress analysis, deformation analysis, and factor-of-safety evaluation.
My key skills include:
• SolidWorks
• Fusion 360
• AutoCAD
• 3D Part & Assembly Modeling
• Mechanical Design
• Engineering Drawings
• CAD Design & Modification
• FEA / Structural Analysis
• Prototyping
• ESP32 & Arduino
I aim to provide accurate, practical, and well-organized CAD solutions based on each client's requirements.

Mechanical Static maintenance
PETRONAS Chemical MTBE · Internship
Jan 2026 –
Aug 2026
7 mos
Gebeng, Balok, Pahang, Malaysia
During my industrial internship with PETRONAS Chemicals MTBE in the Maintenance Static department, I gained practical experience in static equipment maintenance, engineering documentation, technical drawings, and plant maintenance activities.
My responsibilities and exposure included:
• Reviewing and interpreting P&IDs, isometric drawings, equipment drawings, and technical documentation for static equipment.
• Assisting with engineering activities involving tanks, vessels, heat exchangers, piping, valves, steam traps, and other static equipment.
• Supporting maintenance planning and preparation of worklists for preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Working with engineering and maintenance documents related to inspection, integrity assessment, Management of Change (MOC), Fitness-for-Service (FFS), and technical recommendations.
• Performing drawing searches and reviewing equipment documentation to support maintenance and engineering activities.
• Assisting with equipment inspection, site verification, tagging, mapping, and documentation activities.
• Using Microsoft Excel to organize equipment data, maintenance information, hyperlinks, and technical records.
• Gaining exposure to SAP and plant maintenance workflows.
• Participating in technical discussions, shutdown planning activities, site inspections, and plant visits.
This internship strengthened my ability to connect engineering drawings and CAD-related information with real industrial equipment and maintenance requirements. It also improved my understanding of engineering documentation, equipment integrity, safety requirements, and practical mechanical engineering applications in a petrochemical plant.
