Modeling and Meshing: Creating a simplified, virtual representation (a Finite Element Model (FEM) or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) mesh/grid) of the design geometry. This step is critical for accurate simulation.

Applying Physics: Defining the material properties, boundary conditions (loads, constraints, heat transfer, fluid flow rates, etc.), and environmental factors relevant to the analysis.
