About
A minimalist, first principles thinking, biomimetics inspired, form follows function design approach. Skills and experience in Mechanical Design Engineering, Industrial Design and Computational Design. I can implement parametric CAD, Low Code, Topology Optimisation, Generative Design and freehand sketching into the design process.
Think outside the algorithm!
A holistic and integrated design skill set leading to unique, functional, cost effective, aesthetic and manufacturable design solutions, often resulting in patents and licensing opportunities.
I communicate my ideas through sketching, 3D Modelling, 3D Visualisation, Technical Illustration, CAD drawings, Moving Image, as well as the spoken and written word in my native English language (and some clunky sounding Swedish).
Throughout my career I have conceptualised, developed and communicated innovative products for prototyping, mass production and batch production, for industries ranging from Automotive (Polestar 2 & 3, Volvo Cars and Volvo Trucks), Furniture (The Conran Shop and international recognition for my work) and most recently Consumer Products (tba) and Quantum Computing hardware (Scalinq).
Moving Image and IP licencing to Open Innovation friendly companies is also something I can offer.
I am highly motivated to shape our future through ethical and sustainable design.
It is great to work with forward thinking people who are not afraid to think differently and are motivated to be a part of something original.
The fusion of art, science and nature, through the exploration of biomimetics, computational design and new advancements in technologies such as AI and additive manufacturing are great inspirations for me.
