Experience

  • Automotive Designer Neuton Auto · Full-time Jan 2025 – Feb 2025 1 mos Pune, MH, India At Neuton Auto, I worked as the sole Industrial Designer, leading the conceptualization and development of a family of electric buses. I was responsible for both exterior and interior design, including dashboard layout, HVAC duct integration, and CMF strategy. Collaborated closely with engineering and fabrication teams to take the project from sketches to a full-scale prototype, ensuring functional packaging and a cohesive design identity aligned with the brand’s goals.

Education

  • rubika supinfocom MASTERS, Transportation and Automobile Design, Fullhonours 2010 – 2016 During my five-year design education at DSK ISD Supinfocom, I developed a strong foundation in transportation and industrial design through rigorous studio projects, workshops, and live industry collaborations.

Year 1–2: Focused on core design principles—sketching, form exploration, ergonomics, perspective, and model making. Participated in clay modeling clubs and interdisciplinary sketch meets that helped build fundamentals in physical and digital visualization.

Year 3: Engaged in real-world design briefs, expanding into user research, packaging, and interface thinking. Participated in the Material Lab Society, exploring finishes, sustainable materials, and hands-on prototyping techniques.

Year 4: Took part in collaborative mobility projects with design peers from Europe, working on group transportation concepts and future mobility ideation. Joined the Vehicle Design Circle, contributing to concept mockups and peer-led reviews. Also mentored junior students on sketching and Rhino modeling.

Year 5: Completed a final graduation project focused on advanced mobility design, integrating user-centric research with a futuristic design narrative. Also represented the institute in portfolio reviews and design showcases.

Key learnings included mastering the design process from ideation to execution, strengthening storytelling and presentation skills, and gaining a deep understanding of user behavior, aesthetics, and feasibility in mobility solutions.
