I'm a freelance mechanical designer with hands-on experience in creating custom jigs, fixtures, and tooling for manufacturing and assembly. I help clients bring their ideas to life by designing reliable, production-ready solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy on the shop floor. I use SolidWorks for advanced 3D modeling and assemblies, including motion simulations and interference checks, and I can quickly generate detailed 2D drawings with proper GD&T, material specs, and BOMs—ready for machining or fabrication.
I’ve designed tools for CNC machining, stamping, and plastic injection, always focusing on DFM and DFA to reduce cost and simplify production. I also work with Mastercam to program toolpaths for 3 axis machines, generating optimized G-code with the right cutting strategies and parameters for high-precision parts. Whether it's a simple fixture or a full tooling package, I make sure the designs are clean, efficient, and ready to go.
I’m used to working remotely with engineering and manufacturing teams, and I can jump into projects at any stage—concept, redesign, or ready-for-CNC.
