I collaborated on a UK research and innovation project derivated from Pneumacrit and
CRADL, developing a EIT real-time lung image for newborns, where I helped design the
commercial aspect of the technology. My focus was on enhancing the user experience for
microelectronic wearables by applying user research, sustainability principles, and Design
for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) techniques. I followed design processes to ensure
compliance with standards, quality requirements, and risk assessment procedures. We
conducted validation tests to optimise usability, manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and
aesthetics. In this project, I explored and utilised various materials, including EMI shielding,
plastics, metals, and 3D printing techniques.
