Experience

  • Design of a Remote Operations Vehicle for the Excavation of Resources ASME Student Section GECBH · Freelance Oct 2025 – Jan 2026 3 mos Thiruvananthapuram, KL, India Designed an unmanned vehicle capable of gathering and depositing resources on an extraterrestrial landscape. The rover could also be controlled via remote control through a transmitter/receiver radio link.

The design was created using SolidWorks, based on the assembly modelling function.
  • Design and Development of an X-Configuration Drone ASME Student Section GECBH · Freelance Aug 2024 – Mar 2025 7 mos Thiruvananthapuram, KL, India Designed an X-configuration drone (quadcopter) to 3D-print it for the ASME IAM3D Drone Challenge 2024. The wings were structurally optimised for better strength and stability. The drone was 3D-printed with PLA (Polylactic Acid) and TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), for a balance between structural weight, rigidity, and crash resilience.
  • Design of an Aerodynamic EV Prototype, Featuring a Recumbent Driving Position Team Pravega · Freelance Jul 2023 – Jul 2024 1 yrs Thiruvananthapuram, KL, India Designed an aerodyniamically-efficient battery electric car prototype with recumbent driving position to compete in Shell Eco-marathon 2024.
  • Design and Development of a Bomb Diffuser Rover Underwater Drone Technologies · Internship Sep 2023 – Dec 2023 3 mos Thiruvananthapuram, KL, India Designed and manufactured a bomb diffuser rover prototype for the state police.

The arm and the remote controller were modelled using SolidWorks assembly modelling function.
  • Portable X-ray Protection Barrier And Examination Box With Moving Arm Specimens Holder Mechanism Government Engineering College Barton Hill · Freelance Jun 2023 – Oct 2023 4 mos Thiruvananthapuram, KL, India Developed in collaboration with Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Science and Technology, the device was developed to enhance radiation safety in medical imaging.

Assembly modelling was performed using SolidWorks software.
