Hi, I'm a Design Engineer based in the UK, highly trained & experienced in mechanical & electrical systems. My degree was in BSc Hons Design Engineering- I studied for three years achieving 2:1.
I am currently working in the audio field; designing products such as HiFi amplifiers & speakers.
Most of my studies were based in the mechanical design of automotive systems & parts verified with technical reports.
I have used CAD for 8 years, 6 years professionally.
- 2 years experience as a CAD & project design
engineer for an leading audio equipment manufacturer
- 3 years experience as a design engineer for an MRI
manufacturer
- 1 year experience as a draughtsman for 2D site plans.
I have a diverse skillset in a range of CAD programs; using Inventor, AutoCAD, Solidworks & SolidEdge to conduct and produce highly accurate assembly designs & drawings.
I like to be thorough, yet concise in my drawings to achieve accurate & cost effective manufacturing results.
In addition to CAD services, I can assist with product design & planning including and not limited to:
-Concept planning
-Assembly & Part modelling
-Design validation with CAE
-Material selection & Manufacturing process guidance
-Technical & financial analysis
