Aeronautical engineer specializing in UAV, eVTOL and aircraft CAD design. I build detailed 3D models, assemblies and dimensioned engineering drawings in SolidWorks, Fusion 360 and CATIA, and take designs from CAD through 3D-printed prototypes, assembly, ground testing and flight testing.
Recent work includes:
- Full-scale SolidWorks model of a 3-person, 12-rotor air ambulance eVTOL with tilt-rotor mechanism and cabin layout
- 46 kg MTOW medical VTOL UAV in Fusion 360, with sizing, weight estimates, trade studies and CFD
- 40 kg MTOW fixed-wing VTOL UAV with 8+1 coaxial propulsion, modular 3D-printable airframe and fabrication drawings
- Conceptual CAD for the 19-passenger ME-1A amphibious aircraft
I also develop Fusion 360 add-ins. My airfoil add-in imports .dat files and automatically closes the trailing edge so profiles extrude and loft cleanly, and keeps the chord fully parametric, so it can be changed from the Parameters tab even after the full wing structure is built.
