I've been extremely fortunate to have worked on a broad array of products in many industries over the course of my career. I've found that my passion is in consumer product development because it requires thinking deeply about all aspects of the user experience. We have open mind in design from the time was not using computer aid, we were building welder machine for packet's products in plastic, we made complete semi and automatic machine. Then we jump in the 2D art of graphic design to do the entire product with their logos and advertising, providing a complete service to our customers. Later we come to grow in the 3D modeling using all my experience in the different area to apply in the 3 dimensional Parts, and the complete assembly of different products, working in other companies putting ideas and creating new tactics to push the time frame and quality on the final product. Ben worked for Magnuson Products as a project manager and resident artist at their corporate headquarters in Ventura California. Prior to that Ben held the position of project manager and multidisciplinary fabricator for TransFX (a custom fabricator). Along with extensive mechanical and artistic experience, Ben is a professional consultant, teacher and artist. His experience includes working as a CAD designer, CNC programmer, machinist, metal fabricator and pattern maker. Ben holds a master’s degree (MFA) from the University of Georgia, and a bachelor’s degree (BFA) from Alfred University. Recognized for his building of custom motorcycles and cars, Ben’s creations have been featured in multiple publications. A guest lecturer at Pitzer College and Florida State University, Ben has also taught at the University of Georgia and studied in Italy. I am currently working full time as an electrical engineer for a Fortune 500 company in R&D. Using ▒▒▒▒▒▒ for additional income on the side. Past projects include full infrared camera designs, high speed automotive SERDES, and medium power/medium voltage (less than 50V, less than 50 watt) DC/DC, AC/DC, DC/AC power supply designs. Strong proficiency in OrCAD/Allegro, some experience designing in Eagle as well. Proficient with programming for Arduino - if you're looking for a quick proof of concept I can help get you there.
