Hi, I'm Colin Young, a seasoned draftsman and welder with over 10 years of hands-on experience in fabrication and design. I specialize in creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, particularly for API 650 storage tanks, steel structures, and custom aluminum projects. My extensive fabrication background gives me a practical understanding of manufacturable designs that meet both client and industry standards. I graduated from Penn State with a BS in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology in 2018. I was hired right out of college and have been working daily with Creo and Inventor for about 3 years professionally. I have some AutoCAD experience as well, but do not use daily. About 4 months into my employment I was assigned a 3.5 million dollar project, which I completed on time, under budget and with no issues. I feel confident in my ability to complete any design challenge that comes my way.
