I am currently a manufacturing engineer at a medical device company. I was previously in a design quality role where I earned my six sigma black belt. I now work on projects to make design suggestions to improve our safety, efficiency and product gross margin. I received my bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton.

Currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant at Akron Children’s Hospital, focusing on computational modeling and spinal biomechanics research related to adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. Experienced in SolidWorks, Siemens NX, and mechanical design workflows including assemblies, manufacturing drawings, fixture design, prototyping, and engineering analysis. I am a mechanical engineer with experience in the design and development of consumer products and medical devices. I have been involved in every step of the product development process--from initial ideation and prototyping to failure testing and inspection. I have also completed a number of reverse engineering projects. I am an experienced user of SolidWorks, PTC Creo, and Siemens NX. I currently use OnShape for CAD and drawing needs, unless a specific program request is made. Also, with a background in visual art, I am used to working closely with industrial and graphic designers and creating reports and presentations for marketing teams and customers.
