I’m Sergio Perez Fontana, an Aerospace Engineer, Manager, and Technologist with over 30 years of experience in Flight Sciences and Structures. My career spans many successful aircraft programs at Boeing, Gulfstream, Bombardier, Bell Helicopter, and Embraer, where I led cross-functional teams in driving innovations through process and design optimization. I’ve led the implementation of advanced methodologies integrating advanced aerospace and exponential technologies for aircraft and other high-performance products maximizing efficiency and effectiveness. I have also developed a deeper specialty in Generative Design and Structural Optimization. Since 2014, I’ve explored and applied topology optimization and AI-driven generative design techniques, leveraging various generative design tools to inspire better, more efficient designs. For example, I contributed to achieving significant weight reduction in thick aluminum plates used to support heavy monuments on the Boeing VC-25B New Air Force One Presidential Aircraft, achieving tangible benefits in structural performance and cost. Traditional design methods often yield heavy, costly parts with underutilized material after long design processes. Every structural component, regardless of the scale of the project or budget, can benefit from my proprietary AI-driven workflows to transform conventional designs into structures that are: - Stronger and lighter: Eliminating unnecessary mass while exceeding performance requirements. - Optimized for manufacturability: Custom-tailored for efficient, scalable production using subtractive or additive processes. - Cost-effective and ready for validation: Minimizing engineering effort and material usage while seamlessly integrating into certification and operational workflows. This approach delivers high-quality structural engineering solutions faster and at a lower cost. Whether you’re developing an advanced component for a Martian flying vehicle or a flying hydrofoil board over water, I bring deep aerospace expertise and advanced AI tools to help you overcome your design challenges.

A beginning graphic designer with an associate’s degree looking to join the graphic design industry. My goal is to use my creative talents to benefit the company and bring joy to others. I'm knowledgeable in using various production software such as Photoshop, Maya, Libre Office, Unity, Animate, Illustrator, Indesign, and Wavepad. I’ve had practice in 2D/3D art production software. Working in Photoshop and Maya are two of my strongest skills. I enjoy creating art pieces or other 2D designs such as a website page, advertisement, or greeting card. There are also many miscellaneous objects and props I build in Maya for fun. One of my biggest projects was to design and build a 3D environment from scratch. Throughout all these, soft skills were also put to the test. Some examples intrude problem solving, improvising, and deciding on a different approach when my original plan doesn’t work. My specialty is building objects from a game or cartoon. I enjoy building things that are related to fun and games.

I worked with SH Engineering & Mfg. for 8 years. I drafted for steel fabrication for 4 years. 2 of the 4 years were spent heading the product department which focused on piping and pipe supports and misc. fabricated items. We fabricated from Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum. Now I own the Delightful Neighborhood Market, a neighborhood grocery store. I miss doing design work and would like to do extra work to earn extra money to save for my children’s college.

My design and manufacturing experience began with the challenge of the Formula Society of Automotive Engineers (FSAE) competition in 2004. Ten engineers worked for one year to design and manufacture an open wheel race car from scratch to compete against the world's top engineering schools. The year-long project solidified my years studying aspects of engineering design, analysis, testing, and manufacturing. Since then I have taken on multiple freelance projects, helping folks take innovative ideas and create engineering models and manufacturing drawings. My greatest strength is working with clients to optimize their design to work with modern manufacturing methods. Whether it's maximizing product strength through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or minimizing manufacturing costs, we will work together to take your idea into reality with a thoughtful and clearly communicated plan followed by professional execution.

Hey there! Thank you for checking out my profile. I have been designing in various CAD and Illustration suites since 2010. Most of my 3D work experience comes from my time working for a small custom shop in Olympia Washington. There I used my mechanical inclination for surgical tool design and modification. Ive worked with many clients who needed custom designs within a short window of time, which I believe translates well to freelance design. Currently I use Onshape to develop my models and blueprints, as I am a native Solidworks user. This makes it fun for me, and quick for you! Feel free to hit me with a request. Thanks for coming by!!
