Started out with 2D AutoCAD in 1992. Moved up to 3D (Pro-ENGINEER) in 1993 and designed new food processing equipment for 10 years. Move to a large pump design company and designed municipal pumps for 15 years. Moved to a Robotics company and design robot components. All the while, I did freelance 3D Design for inventors, new product developers and a wide variety of companies on their projects. I continue to work in 3D Design because I love the work and I love helping people bring their ideas into fruition.

I’m a Mechanical Engineering Technology graduate and professional CAD Designer with hands-on experience designing mechanical components, assemblies, interactive exhibits, and manufacturing-ready products. I specialize in turning ideas, sketches, measurements, and concepts into accurate, practical CAD models and detailed drawings. My experience includes SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Revit, CNC/CAM, 3D printing, fabrication, and product development, giving me a strong understanding of the entire process from concept to production. What I can help with: * SolidWorks 3D part and assembly modeling * Manufacturing and fabrication drawings * Converting sketches, photos, and measurements into CAD * Design modifications and revisions * 3D-printable parts and assemblies * DXF/CNC files and cut-ready geometry * Sheet metal and fabricated components * Assembly documentation and BOMs * Product prototyping and design development * Reverse engineering from existing parts, measurements, or reference images * CAD file cleanup and conversion I have experience taking designs beyond the screen and considering how they will actually be fabricated, assembled, and used. Whether you have a rough idea that needs to become a CAD model or an existing design that needs to be cleaned up and prepared for manufacturing, I can help turn it into something practical and production-ready. I value accuracy, clear communication, attention to detail, and getting the job done right the first time. I’m also happy to work with clients who may not have a technical CAD background and can help translate an idea into a workable design. Send me your concept, sketch, measurements, or existing CAD files, and let's build it.
