I am a Mechanical and Drafting Engineer with a background in product development and marketing strategies. I own a local design firm with which I work primarily in the firearms and defense industry designing and producing high quality aftermarket parts and assemblies for both private and commercial markets. Hello my name is Jason I have 17 years experience as a project manager/auto cad technician/3D designer. I have a lot of experience creating production blueprints, floor plans, elevations, as well drawings for CNC production. I also have the ability to create 3D photo realistic drawings. I have worked for seven years in the exhibit industry. This allowed me to work with some of the newest and greatest material available. Such as paper stone and bamboo plywood. I also worked for two years as the main drafting /engineer/project manager at a millwork shop that produced all of the interior decor to four restaurants. I have worked for two exhibit companies as a project manager/auto cad technician. The exhibit industry is always looking to use the latest and greatest materials. I've worked with machines & engines that have a terrible design for one reason; the designer has no clue what its like to work with the machine itself. For example, the design requires a 8 hour down period for a simple bearing replacement. Designs need to be user friendly, majority of engineers don't understand this concept. They design it to work and work alone. A great engineer designs for quality, simple maintenance, cheapest fabrication, popular parts (bearings, worm screws, pillow blocks, etc.). My designs offer perfection, realism, and lowest fabrication cost.
