I have worked with 17 teams, being either the leader or teammate. Projects - Worked on a total of 16 robots in FTC robotics - Created multiple hyper-realistic CAD models of our robots, modeling textures, deformities, tolerances, appearances, materials, realistically moving in real-time, and dimensionally accurate to 0.001in - Instrumental team member in creating a successful 120lb, 4ft tall robot for FRC. - Designed a swerve drive, the most advanced drivetrain - Created three 150-page engineering notebooks of highly advanced technical documentation - Ran 21 studies of generative design, the world’s leading CAD technology - Created 87 animations and technical drawings showing how to build my teams’ robots and designs - Built an advanced robot with a fully rotatable scissor lift, extendable arm, and claw, and capable of driving - Created a robotic hand that models a human hand in real-time - Currently mentoring 10 high school robotics teams - Currently mentoring a Science Bowl team

With a career built on understanding how things work, I've transitioned from maintaining and assembling complex machinery to designing it. My experience as a CNC Operator, a Crawler Crane Technician for Liebherr, and a UH-60 Helicopter Maintainer for the U.S. Army has given me an invaluable, hands-on education in engineering principles. I don't just see a drawing; I see the physical product, its assembly process, and its operational demands. After excelling in formal drafting and CAD coursework, I am dedicated to a full-time career in mechanical design.

I am an electrical engineering student that is very interested in all the different types of engineering. I have been learning 3D printing, 3D modeling (Fusion 360), electronics, PCB design, programming (microcontrollers, websites and apps), and prototyping. I put my skills to the test by challenging myself to difficult projects like my 3D-printed 6-axis Industrial-style robot arm. I designed everything about the arm including the circuitboards, software, and the arm itself. Although I am an electrical engineering student, I learned everything on my own through the web. I'm an engineer who believes that creativity is a process -- not an outcome. Engineering is what I do. I believe in the power of computing and its role in design. I bring my past experience in all things mechanics, structures, and computing to bring solutions to difficult design problems. I'm currently an Engineer-in-Training in the State of Texas. I received my BS in Civil Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University where I focused my studies on structures, design, and computing. Over 10 years of designing heavy lifting equipment. This includes new designs and modernizing old equipment. I've provided fabrication shops with the details they need to fabricate components. These components were then assembled and installed by local field operatives. I worked closely with both the fabricators and installers to ensure the drawings they received were accurate and comprehensible. Depending on the project some drawings were made by transferring existing paper drawings to CAD and updating them as necessary to show new components and design changes.
