Hello! My name is Kole and welcome to my profile! Let us start with a little bit about myself. I am currently in the position of Lead Draftsman for a glazing contractor that produce and install aluminum architectural products such as: storefront, curtainwall, fixed windows, entrances, and metal panel systems. Our company also provides glass products for all of our aluminum window products. I am in charge of all the shop drawings that our company produces for architects and general contractors to approve our designs and how our products will interact with surrounding building conditions. I am also in charge of keeping or CAD detail library up to date with any changes to the products we regularly use, as well as provide take offs and estimates for clients. I also produce purchase orders for glass and aluminum products, while also creating work orders for our fabricators and installers. I pride myself on my professionalism, reliability, and strong work ethic. I am a proactive communicator, ensuring that my clients are always up to date on the progress of their projects. I've been drafting since 2011. My first job was running AutoCAD for a landscape architect at 15 years old. During my high school career I was taught how to use AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, and to draft by hand. During my college career I was taught and certified in Solidworks, revisited Revit, and brushed over 3DS Max before covid. In my spare time I've been teaching myself animation and 3d modeling using blender. Since my childhood I've been drafting inventions, some of which have been made by major companies by coincidence. I have a balanced creative and technical mind that allows me to accel in the mechanical design field.
