Hello, I am Mehmet Fatih Çat. I'm a mechanical engineering student at Kocaeli University. I have been using Solidworks for 6 years actively. Besides that, I have been using AutoCAD for 4 years. I have completed many projects, especially using the SolidWorks program. Such as Ka-band antenna design, SNG vehicles, Flyaway antenna, special design SNG vehicle, Stirling engines, Wind Turbine.

Mechanical Engineer | Fusion 360 Expert | Product Design & Manufacturing-Ready CAD I am a **Mechanical Engineer specializing in Autodesk Fusion 360**, focused on turning ideas, sketches, existing parts, and technical requirements into **accurate, functional, and manufacturing-ready CAD designs**. My goal is not simply to create a 3D model that looks good on screen. I design with **real-world functionality, manufacturability, assembly, tolerances, materials, production methods, and future design changes** in mind. Whether you need a single mechanical component, a complete assembly, a prototype-ready product, production drawings, or an existing design improved for manufacturing, I can take your project from **concept to production-ready CAD**. I work extensively with the **native professional capabilities of Autodesk Fusion 360**, creating clean, editable, fully parametric designs without relying on third-party plug-ins or add-ins. This makes project files easier to transfer, modify, maintain, and continue developing after delivery. What I Can Do for You Mechanical Design & Product Development * Mechanical component and product design * Concept development and design refinement * Functional mechanism design * Design of mechanical assemblies * Parametric and feature-based CAD modeling * Design optimization * Product improvement and redesign * Prototype development * Design for Manufacturing (DFM) * Design for Assembly (DFA) 3D CAD Modeling * Precise parametric 3D models * Complex mechanical parts * Multi-component assemblies * Solid modeling * Surface and freeform modeling * Mesh and STL modification * Existing CAD model modification * 2D drawing to 3D CAD conversion * Sketch, image, or concept to 3D model * STEP / STP / STL / DXF and other manufacturing file preparation Mechanical Assemblies * Multi-part assemblies * Component relationships and joints * Motion-oriented mechanism design * Interference and fit checking * Exploded assemblies * Assembly organization * Design revisions and component replacement * Production-ready assembly documentation Manufacturing-Ready Design I design parts with the manufacturing process in mind rather than treating manufacturing as an afterthought. Projects can be prepared for: * CNC machining * 3D printing * Sheet metal fabrication * Laser cutting * Waterjet cutting * Plasma cutting * Conventional machining * Prototype manufacturing * General mechanical fabrication Sheet Metal Design * Sheet metal components * Flanges and bends * Folded enclosures and brackets * Flat patterns * Manufacturing-ready DXF files * Bend-aware design * Production drawings Engineering Drawings & Documentation * Professional 2D engineering drawings * Manufacturing drawings * Assembly drawings * Dimensioning * Geometric tolerancing where required * Section and detail views * Exploded views * Parts lists / BOM-ready documentation * Production notes * PDF and DWG/DXF drawing output Reverse Engineering & CAD Reconstruction If you already have a physical component, STL/mesh, old drawing, image, or incomplete CAD file, I can recreate it as a **clean and editable parametric Fusion 360 model**. This includes: * Existing part reconstruction * STL / mesh to editable CAD * Legacy drawing to modern 3D CAD * Measurement-based modeling * Replacement part modeling * Design modification and improvement Design for 3D Printing * FDM-friendly mechanical parts * Prototype components * Functional printed assemblies * STL preparation * Clearance and tolerance consideration * Print-oriented geometry optimization * Support-conscious design * Rapid-prototyping models CNC & CAM Preparation For suitable projects, I can support the transition from CAD into Fusion 360's integrated manufacturing workflow, including machining-oriented model preparation and CAM-ready geometry. Rendering & Product Presentation When needed, I can also create: * Professional product renders * Material and appearance setups * Exploded product presentations * Technical visualizations * Product concept images * Assembly animations and motion presentations Why Work With Me? Engineering First — Not Just CAD Modeling A CAD model should not only look correct. It should also make sense mechanically. I approach every project from a **mechanical engineering perspective**, considering: * Function * Geometry * Manufacturability * Assembly * Mechanical clearances * Design intent * Material usage * Production constraints * Maintainability * Future revisions Fully Parametric & Editable Models Whenever appropriate, models are built with a clean parametric structure so dimensions and design features can be modified efficiently instead of rebuilding the entire part. Manufacturing-Oriented Workflow I aim to identify potential production problems before they become expensive manufacturing problems. The objective is always to provide a design that is as close as
