Carrier started at 1995 as junior motion designer at local TV station. 1996 - 2000 - Functional design at Latvian Academy of Arts, and work at Post production studio as 3d designer, animator, motion designer. 2000 - Now - Contracts on Post production projects, Design and Multimedia Brand "Vizarmedia" owner. My main area is design. Design as a vision. I used to create designs for wide areas of life. Architecture, jewelry, industrial design, furniture, and even motion design and 3d special FX, that I have started my carrier from in early 1996 and continue to create some videos today on time to time basis, as my presentation tool, and do some projects for my customers. But nevertheless I more stick to the real world object design. I like to know, that people are happy to use things that I have created. Well. in more formal I have the following expertice: Expertise in Functional design (furniture and appliance design), Decorative crafts and sculpture, 3d modelling, rendering. Among other finished projects there are: Functional design: Furniture designs with with author supervision on production stage for home and office. Decorative crafts: 600sq.m. cottage full plaster of paris decoration project (sculpting, production). Victorian style cottage plaster of paris decoration (exclusive design, original models). Art nouveau large mirror frame, and other sculpture works. Industrial design: Concept design for home appliance. CAD project of Plastic futuristic design Gas Appliance, made of Glass fiber plastic. Mos experienced I am at non-standard machinery design, such as conveyor systems for bulk transporting, ammo manufacturing lines. Also, I am familiar with injection moulding design and 3D printing. I dig deeper then I could say that my strong sides are Sheet metal assemblies design, Machined parts design and plastic parts design. One of my accomplished projects is a bulk handling facility for the biggest chicken farm in Latvia. I have graduated Riga Technical Univerity and gained a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering and manufacturing technology. I'm a freelance mechanical engineer from Latvia (Eastern Europe), I speak fluent technical English as I studied engineering in the United Kingdom. Basically I am a hardware hacker, I like to make things differently just because I can and doing projects that are different than others is my kind of thing. My software of choice is Autodesk Inventor, but I have used and can use several other software platforms. I have worked in the industry as a shade structure designer, this experiance gave me some skills in visual design using Adobe CS6. I have also worked as a vending machine constructor and a stair designer. I spend my free time building weird bikes, just like the cargo-ghetto-blaster-bike in my picture.
