Working on Instrument Panel components, precisely Bandeau, Structure, Top Cover, Air Vents, Defrosters, Chute Channel, Ducts and Support, Cluster and Support, B-Features, etc. Responsible for component design in Cad including tolerance studies, packaging studies, fits, tool clearance and manufacturability. Comprehensive understanding of engineering and design principles along with GD&T, Plastic Materials, Moulds and Moulding Concepts. Knowledge of Master Sections and Remastering (Dump to Parametric). Efficient in style surface replacement, replacing inputs and managing updates. Improving the design and modifications of existing products as per the requirements. Creating complete engineering features like snap, tabs, cutouts for snap, datum ribs, resting ribs, doghouses, bosses, etc. Worked on Exterior components like rear fascia, skid plate, c-channel, flange and B features. Section feasibility study in terms of packaging, tooling, assembly. Experience of studying, reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings. Knowledge of Siemens UG NX and AutoCAD. Knowledge of SAP. Efficient user of MS Office. Working on the projects considering cost and time constraints
