3D Jewelry Designer and CAD Specialist with 3+ years delivering production-ready files across 1,500+ custom pieces, brand collections, and high-volume B2B projects. Expert in Rhino and MatrixGold, with full command of 4K rendering, turntable animation, castable resin 3D printing, and micro-casting workflows. My background in Industrial Engineering is what sets this work apart: I model with casting feasibility in mind from the first sketch — prong geometry, wall tolerances, stone seat angles, and shrinkage are part of the process, not an afterthought. The result is a file that works at the workshop for the first time. Experienced in independent and high-volume production environments. Available for remote freelance and full-time roles globally.I've delivered over 1,500 production-ready jewelry CAD files — and every single one was engineered to work at the workshop, not just look good on screen. WHAT I DELIVER: · Production-ready STL and 3DM files for castable resin 3D printing and lost-wax casting · CAD modeling in Rhino + MatrixGold — rings, pendants, earrings, necklaces, multi-stone pieces · 4K photorealistic renders in KeyShot and Blender Cycles · Turntable animations for client approval, e-commerce, and marketing · Technical drawings and manufacturing specs for workshop execution · Organic and sculptural forms in ZBrush integrated with production CAD TRACK RECORD: · 1,298 models at Lugh Jewelry (Bogotá) — 50 pieces/month average over 2 years · 200+ freelance projects completed — 80% with full 4K render + turntable package · Zero casting failures attributable to my CAD files BACKGROUND: BSc Industrial Engineering (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana) + 3 years hands-on jewelry workshop experience + full CAD/production chain. I understand the business side of custom jewelry as well as the technical side. Available immediately. Remote. English-speaking. Portfolio: davidromero25.artstation.com
