My name is Katie Sharkey and I am an architectural technologist that has almost completed a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture as well. I would be an asset to your company because I have a lot of experience in not only AutoCad, but also many other programs that I have learned throughout my years of education. These include: Rhino, Revit, Inventor, Photoshop, and many more. Through my schooling and working at an engineering firm for two summers, I am very familiar with what it takes to be a team player. I am very organized, efficient, and skilled at what I do. Through my education in Holland College’s Architectural Technology program, I have learned the technical background of architectural plans, 3d modeling and the skills needed to work in a firm. Through my education thus far in Carleton University’s Architecture Studies program, I have acquired skills of creativity, time management, and progressed into the Conservation and Sustainability stream.

I am a Mechanical Technologist in Mississauga Canada with 20+ years experience in AutoCad, Fusion and GeoMagic, I am a fully qualified general machinist / mechanical technologist where I have completed many automation systems design and build assignments. I have worked in the manufacturing industry for many years which gives me an advantage in being able to see quickly what designs are practical and cost effective to fabricate. I have rapid prototyping capability using a variety of machine tools which are complimented by a variety of FFF printers.
