BIM/VDC specialist working in Autodesk Revit — MEP content, CAD-to-BIM modeling, and the automation that speeds both up. What I deliver: • Revit families — parametric MEP content (plumbing, HVAC, valves and piping) with shared parameters and type catalogs, organized in CSI MasterFormat libraries. • CAD-to-BIM — coordinated Revit models from 2D AutoCAD sets (architecture, structure, MEP, site topography from DWG surveys), with sheets, schedules and quantity takeoffs up to LOD 350. • Coordination — model federation and clash detection in Navisworks. • Automation — pyRevit/Python tools on the Revit API: batch parameter editing, family cleanup, and a rule-based wall-framing generator. Today I build Revit content for a US-based VDC firm. I work to your standards and templates, and I communicate in English (Portuguese native).

I am a mechanical engineer with 3+ years of hands-on CAD and product design work, combined with a strong software background. That mix lets me cover the full journey: designing the product, visualising it, documenting it, and automating the repetitive CAD work around it. WHAT I DO - Product design and 3D CAD in Fusion 360 and SolidWorks: enclosures, housings, consumer products and functional parts, designed for 3D printing, injection moulding and CNC - Photorealistic 3D rendering and visualisation in Blender: product shots, jewellery and accessories, lifestyle scenes and marketing visuals for websites, listings and investor decks - Revit BIM modelling: CAD to BIM conversion, architectural and MEP models, and drawing sets - CAD automation with Python: scripted, parametric CAD (OpenCASCADE), batch export and file conversion, model checks and custom tools that save hours of manual work - Reverse engineering from photos, sketches and drawings into clean, editable models - 3D printing preparation and prototyping on in-house FDM printers HOW I WORK I build models parametrically, so changes are quick and variants are easy. I check designs for manufacturability before delivery, and I tell you early if something will be expensive or difficult to produce. Where a task repeats, I automate it, so you pay for engineering rather than clicking. RECENT WORK - Two-part wall-mounted electronics enclosure (ABS body + polycarbonate cover with vent slots), built with scripted parametric CAD and delivered as clean STEP files - Rugged hinged protective case with toggle latch, recessed handle and stacking interlock, designed print-ready for FDM - Photoreal product visualisation for decorative hardware and jewellery collections - Reverse engineering of complex shapes from reference photos into dimensioned CAD WHAT YOU RECEIVE Native CAD files, STEP, STL/3MF, DWG/DXF and PDF drawings, Revit files, high-resolution renders, and scripts with simple instructions where automation is part of the job. EDUCATION Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Languages: English, Hindi, Gujarati
