Project Description
I am looking for an experienced product design and consumer electronics engineer to evaluate the feasibility of an ultra-thin wireless power bank.
Concept
The goal is to create a power bank that is approximately the size of a credit card and about the thickness of two stacked credit cards, allowing it to fit comfortably inside a standard wallet while providing emergency wireless charging for a smartphone.
What I Need
Evaluate whether this product is technically feasible using current battery technology.
Estimate the achievable battery capacity within the target dimensions.
Recommend suitable battery cells, wireless charging components, and electronics.
Identify the biggest engineering challenges and possible solutions.
Provide initial CAD concepts and internal component layouts if feasible.
Recommend a path toward building a working prototype.
