Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced CAD draftsman to prepare detailed 2D workshop fabrication drawings for two industrial ducting systems in a metallurgical processing facility. The systems include:
1. Off-gas ducting system for an aluminum dross processing line
2. Dust extraction/suction ducting system for a hammer mill
The basic plant layout, connection points, and preliminary dimensions will be provided. The scope is to convert this information into complete, fabrication-ready workshop drawings.
Scope of Work:
Develop detailed 2D fabrication drawings (AutoCAD or equivalent) for both duct systems
Prepare general arrangement (GA) drawings showing routing, elevations, and connections
Produce detailed spool drawings with dimensions, joint details, and identification tags
Define duct sizes, transitions, reducers, bends, and branch connections
Include support details (hangers, brackets, supports) suitable for workshop fabrication
Prepare bill of materials (BOM) including plate thickness, flanges, fasteners, and accessories
Indicate welding details, flange standards, and fabrication tolerances
Ensure drawings are suitable for direct use by workshop fabrication team
Revise drawings based on feedback during review cycles
Inputs Provided:
