We are seeking an experienced CFD engineer to perform comprehensive aerodynamic validation, optimization, and performance enhancement of an existing 300 mm automotive axial fan-motor assembly for thermal management applications (e.g., radiator cooling, EV battery, or engine cooling).
Objective: Achieve ~15-25% overall performance improvement over the baseline design through simulation-driven geometry refinement, while maintaining or improving efficiency, NVH, and durability characteristics. The project emphasizes strong CFD-to-physical test correlation and development of a reusable optimization methodology.
This is a fixed-scope, milestone-based project ideal for freelancers with turbomachinery/rotating machinery CFD expertise. Final optimized geometry will be delivered in .STP format.
Key Technologies: ANSYS Fluent + Workbench (Student Version compatible workflows mandatory).
