Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Detailer with a strong background in millwork and custom cabinetry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings for residential and commercial projects, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring accuracy for production and installation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD for millwork, kitchens, closets, and custom built-ins
Interpret architectural drawings, design packages, and site measurements
Coordinate with project managers, designers, and production team
Revise drawings based on client feedback and site conditions
Prepare cut lists, material specifications, and hardware details
Ensure drawings are production-ready for CNC programming
Maintain drawing standards and documentation
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in millwork detailing
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with Cabinet Vision is a strong asset)
Strong understanding of millwork construction methods, materials, and hardware (e.g., BLUM, laminates, veneers)
Ability to read architectural and shop drawings
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and coordination skills
Nice to Have:
Experience with high-rise residential or commercial projects
Familiarity with CNC processes and production workflows
Experience in modular kitchen or closet systems
Knowledge of finishes and materials (EGGER, AGT, veneers, etc.)
