About the job
We are seeking a skilled Electrical CAD Draftsman to convert electrical panel designs into detailed CAD drawings. The candidate will work with existing schematics, layouts, and specifications to produce accurate and manufacturing-ready drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Convert existing electrical panel designs into CAD drawings (2D/3D as required)
* Prepare detailed panel layout drawings, GA (General Arrangement) drawings, and wiring diagrams
* Ensure drawings comply with relevant electrical standards and project specifications
* Revise drawings based on feedback and changes
* Maintain organized documentation and drawing records
Requirements:
* Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar
* Experience in electrical panel drafting (control panels)
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and layouts
* Knowledge of electrical components and panel design practices
* Attention to detail and accuracy
*BOM (Bill of Materials) preparation
Nice to Have:
* Familiarity with UL standard.
Deliverables:
* Complete CAD drawings package ready for manufacturing
* Editable source files and PDFs
