Fast turnaround, accuracy, reliability, and ongoing availability are essential.
1. AutoCAD Drafting Responsibilities
- Convert marked-up PDF or DWG drawings into professional AutoCAD construction drawings.
- Use existing architectural backgrounds or recreate accurately scaled CAD backgrounds from PDFs when necessary.
- Accurately place and identify data outlets, Wi-Fi access points, cameras, card readers, AV devices, and other low-voltage equipment.

- Maintain consistent drawing standards, layers, blocks, lineweights, title blocks, scales, and annotations.
- Apply revisions promptly based on our comments and additional markups.
- Verify device numbering, quantities, and consistency across drawings.
- Identify missing or unclear information instead of making assumptions.
Drawings must be complete, organized, and suitable for construction use.
2. Revit / BIM Modeling Responsibilities
Strong, hands-on Revit experience is mandatory.
The successful candidate must be capable of creating, modifying, coordinating, and maintaining low-voltage systems within Autodesk Revit.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain discipline-specific Revit models for structured cabling, AV, access control, CCTV, and security systems.
- Model low-voltage devices and equipment based on our marked-up drawings and design instructions.

- Verify alignment, positioning, elevations, and coordination with architectural backgrounds.
- Create, modify, and manage Revit families for low-voltage equipment.
- Assign accurate device identifiers, equipment types, mounting heights, and relevant parameters.
- Create Revit floor plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and installation details as required.
- Model cable trays, conduits, pathways, and associated infrastructure where shown or specified.
- Coordinate device placement with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Identify and help resolve model coordination or interference issues.
- Maintain accurate device schedules and quantities within the Revit model.
- Ensure consistency between Revit models, AutoCAD drawings, and issued PDF documents.
- Update Revit models whenever our design markups or architectural backgrounds change.
We require actual, editable Revit BIM content—not simply imported AutoCAD drawings placed inside Revit.
The candidate must understand BIM coordination and be capable of producing appropriately detailed models suitable for construction coordination and project submissions.
3. Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM Coordination
Our projects use Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC / Autodesk Docs) for document management and BIM coordination.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our assigned discipline folders and maintaining current project files.
Responsibilities include:
- Access and work within the project's Autodesk Construction Cloud environment.
- Retrieve and review the latest architectural PDF, CAD, and Revit backgrounds.
- Maintain an organized, current set of low-voltage drawings and Revit models.
- Manage files, naming conventions, versioning, and revisions within our assigned folders.
- Upload and maintain current PDF, DWG, and RVT deliverables.
- Coordinate file updates with the most recent architectural and engineering models.
- Keep the project files synchronized with ongoing design changes and coordination comments.
- Follow the project's BIM execution requirements and document-management procedures.
Revit Model Submissions:
- Updated Revit models must be uploaded to ACC every Friday.
- Additional model submissions may be required following coordination meetings or significant revisions.
- Models must be prepared for submission using Autodesk Revit eTransmit.
- Clean and purge models, remove unnecessary content, and verify linked-file requirements before transmission.
- Ensure transmitted models open properly and contain the required model information and references.
Project Folder Requirements:
- Maintain current working files in the appropriate discipline coordination folders.
- Keep CAD, Revit, and PDF deliverables organized by the established project structure.
- Official drawing submissions must follow the project's designated issuance procedures.
- When instructed, prepare dated issue packages in the required YYYY-MM-DD Description folder structure, including both PDF and CAD files.
- Do not replace or modify official tender/construction issuance files without authorization.
- Follow the project's architect/BIM coordinator instructions regarding coordination folders, official issuance folders, and document versions.
Additional project-specific BIM and coordination requirements may be provided.
