About the job
I want to get a gate fabricated exactly as in the photo. For this , first I need you to use Adobe photoshop( or a similar software ) and use the perspective wrap or distort tool to get a full frontal image. Next step is to enhance contrast so that the curves of the design are very clear.
Next use Adobe Illustrator to convert pixels/ rastor to vector so that the exact curves are traced using the image trace or auto trace tool. Get a DXF file.
Next import this DXF file directly into AutoCAD.
Because the auto-trace might have minor imperfections, the designer needs to trace over the imported curves with clean CAD splines to smooth them out.
The size of the gate is 11 feet wide . Height in proportion to what is in the photo.
