I am seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in rugged industrial equipment to assist in refining a sealed mechanical device used in heavy equipment ground-contact applications (e.g., crane outriggers / shoring systems).
The functional concept is defined. The objective is to develop a durable, manufacturable mechanical assembly suitable for harsh outdoor environments.
The project requires attention to structural load paths, controlled mechanical movement, sealing strategy, and tolerance control. This is a mechanical-first industrial product.
